Choose the perfect floorball stick for your needs
1. WHAT LEVEL DO YOU PLAY AT?

· Beginner: Go for a light stick with soft flex (28–32). Examples: Unihoc Basic series, Prodigy, or Composite.

· Recreational/club player: Move up in quality with better material and balance feel. Examples: Pro or Max.

· Elite/advanced: Choose lightweight carbon fiber shafts and tailored blades. Examples: Unihoc Max, Carbskin, or Evolab.

2. WHAT FLEX DO YOU NEED?

Flex determines how much the shaft bends during shots:

PLAYER TYPE

3. HOW LONG SHOULD THE STICK BE?

The measurement is usually given as shaft length without the blade. Choose so that the stick reaches between the navel and chest bone. A general guide usually looks something like this:

SHAFT LENGTH

100–130 cm

75–92 cm

4. CHOOSE GRIP AND DESIGN

All Unihoc sticks come with different grip tapes and color schemes. Keep in mind:

· Grips with good moisture absorption = better control

· Match blade & shaft for style and visibility on the court

Remember that grip tapes are easy to change, just like blades.

5. CHOOSE THE RIGHT BLADE MODEL

All Unihoc sticks are combined with blades from our latest collection:

· UNILITE: All-round blade with lots of hook and control, focused more on shooting

· EVOLITE: Slightly larger blade than UNILITE for passes & shots, with focus on stiffness in the blade

· EPIC: Popular shooting blade for drag and slap shots, slightly stiffer in the heel than others

· PLAYER: Beginner-friendly, all-round, less hook, and easy to handle

You can also choose right- or left-handedness depending on which hand is lowest on the stick.

6. MATERIAL: WHAT SHOULD THE SHAFT BE MADE OF?

· Composite (fiberglass mix): Cheaper, robust, and good for beginners

· Glass fiber + carbon fiber: Lighter with reinforced glass fiber suits all players.

· Carbon fiber: Lighter and more responsive. Suits serious players for higher feel.

· Carbskin™: Unihoc’s workhorse, most advanced material for maximum response.

· Evolab: The thinnest & lightest shaft model from Unihoc with optimal response, feel & performance.

7. JUNIOR, WOMEN OR MEN?

Unihoc offers sticks in different series tailored to players of different ages and body types. Important factors:

· Juniors: Shorter & softer sticks.

· Women: Often slightly shorter and softer flexes.

· Men: Longer shafts, stiffer flex. Note, these are general guidelines.
