Watch our video where UNIHOC's very own Johan gives you a guide to our floorball blades.
1. WHAT DIFFERENTIATES BLADE MODELS?
The differences lie mainly in three things:
Hook (curve) – how much the blade is bent
Pocketing – how much the ball “rests” in the blade
Stiffness and material – affects feel and precision
Shaft attachment & screw holes – please note that blade models could have different screw hole placements compared to when they are produced.

3. CHOOSE BLADE ACCORDING TO YOUR PLAYING STYLE
· Technical player: Choose UNILITE or EVOLITE – good balance between control and speed, depending on your preferences.
· Shooting-oriented player: Choose UNILITE or UNITY – to gain more power and spin.
· Defender/defensive player: EVOLITE, UNILITE or PLAYER – depending on whether you want secure passes or better playing features.
· Junior or beginner: UNILITE or EVOLITE – easy to handle, easy to develop technique with, depending on whether you are more shot- or pass-oriented.
4. STIFFNESS – CHOOSE THE RIGHT MATERIAL
Unihoc offers several plastic types:
· Feather Light PP (soft): Light and flexible – gives control and feel.
· PE (medium): More rigid and easier to shape – the material that has been around the longest.
· Titan PP-TI (stiffer): For players who want maximum response in shots and passes, almost like a combination of PP and PE.
5. LEFT OR RIGHT HANDED?
· Left hand at the bottom = Left-handed stick
· Right hand at the bottom = Right-handed stick
Unihoc offers all blades in both left and right on all our blade models.
6. ARE BLADES REPLACEABLE?
Yes! All Unihoc blades can be replaced. You can therefore keep the shaft and only change to a new blade that suits your development better. See our guide on HOW TO CHANGE YOUR BLADE with tutorial instructions.
